Our story begins with this invitation to take part in and share the stage with Lalove as he encounters love for the first time in the big city. Prepare yourself to witness the development of a peculiar Romantic dinner in which Lalove, will offer as main dish and with the help of certain culinary tricks, a special recipe that will make your hearts race. He will be serving a deeply personal delicacy seasoned with illusions and hallucinations which he plans to make real with the owner of a online profile from a dating app whom with he recently fell in love with, but who’s appetite remains closed despite having tasted the particular dish of our protagonist. If no hunger is satisfied consuming what Lalove has put on the table the tension will take hold of this dinner, because, his beloved guest will prefer to let the meal cool off and invite Lalove to have a look at what other menus, which do not contain ingredients from the eternal, have to offer as an alternative to the romantic meal, And that is how bite by bite we will find ourselves further and further from the beginning of the great romance that Lalove has imagined. In his attempt to hook him once again he will use Drama as a strategy to try and save the night, but by thinking and feeling at the same time he will only achieve to feed the conflict between the identities and difference presented in the scenario which could be lived by anyone in their own search for love. ------How will this episode end? Will we end up eating Kebaps and Afri Cola somewhere else? ------How involved is technology in the faith of Romantic ideals? ------What options does the menu include that are currently practiced in relationships as an alternative to romance? ------Does romantic love have something to do with hunger or is it simply a matter of imagination? ------Do we know how the ancient Greek concept of “Drama” has transferred itself unto the amorous lexicon of today and what is its true role in the development of Romantic relationship? ------Do these pre-cooked illusions preserve themselves well when left in the freezer? The Production Staff of this Telenovela is pleasured to announce another encounter of our chequered Romantic Love history. LaLove has recovered from the dramatic fail of the premiere episode and now he is willing to live a new Romantic experience! This time the scene happens in a particular Berlin pastry shop, where a group of people organize a meeting every Saturday to exchange and learn foreign languages. LaLove decides to join them after finding out that the Erasmus student -who he is in Love with now- is part of that group, leading us to the topic of the new session: Love expressions. While dressing up to head to the café, LaLove talks to his mother on Skype about the plan of declaring his love to the Erasmus guy during the meeting in front of everybody, but she gives him the advice on the words to use, warning him especially to think first what the confession means, because sometimes that may lend itself to confusions -even more between people from different cultures- which could leave him unable to perform his task properly and block the natural flow of Love. Our Romantic protagonist doesn’t know what to do now. The familiar feeling of the spinning in his head is dividing him from himself, and preventing him from showing him his image. What he wants is to start creating a kind of true state with his beloved via his confession. So he has decided to confess regardless of the means. No matter what he will do it with all the passion that his heart dictates him, that there won’t be place for misunderstandings even if he uses Deutsch, English, French, Spanish or even Sign language to make bring his thought to live! or to make his thoughts speak! Join us to express your Love next to the cream and sugar and instigate that something else happens again with the destiny of this story, bring in mind the love expressions used in your native language, come to drink a coffee (and more) in this scenario prepared to be experienced by anyone who is on the search for Love. -------Will it be possible to understand each other in this episode? -------What are the effects of cultural and linguistic backgrounds on the use of the English locution ‘‘I love you’’? -------Which difficulties exist for Love between people from different races, languages or simply with not the same social programming? -------Does Romantic Love have a universal conception or it is assumed differently in every culture? -------What is involved into the act of breaking the silence and confessing that you Love above your given anxieties? -------Why is this act somehow "anti-social"? ------- Have you ever felt the “If I don't say this now…”? |

For this episode we are freeing ourselves from defining any character or stage, so let us come openly to re-visit the route our story has taken, get close to understanding the story’s particular mode of being composed and reflect on how it has affected "us". 'Love Kollaps' is a story in the making of itself. Lalo Gomes explains that its compositional process begins with the use of his amorous life in Berlin as a raw material, then that compendium of dramatic facts is what he brings to reasoning through Humanistic Practices though (since Literature to Sciences) for after - based on his findings - create a representational game from which he invites us to be part of in a Performance as Event. It is to say that this story is one with different manners of ‘thinking’ as well with different modes of ‘performing’ it. Lalo Gomes’ artistic work inscribed inside a new generation of “thinkers/performers” stands out for reframing cultural discourses and breaking down disciplinary divisions in order to defy ways of staging fictions, a work that he describes as doing “Scenic Philosophy”. Through re-enacting this experiment in a charming evening with his author, we offer you a walk around the making of with ALL ACCESS to this-our-yours Berlin’s Telenovela in EXTRA (REVEALING) EPISODE, specially created for a re-engagement with the project. ---------------Nobody will break Lalove's heart this night? ---------------How is that this tension between theatre, philosophy and performance plays out in creating our story? ---------------Which conceptual constellations can be founds overlapping inside the process? ----------------Where ‘thinking’ and ‘performing’ do encounters one another here? ----------------What is the productive dimension of this experiment? ----------------Will be the future of the scenic works this way of thinking/performing? ----------------Would you like to formulate any other question? -----------------So… What is the scandal? |
